Carole Bondaroff
Carole Bondaroff was born in Montreal, Canada. She attended Sir George Williams University in Montreal, and the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in Halifax, where she received a B.F.A. in printmaking and a B.A. in Art Education. Ms. Bondaroff has been living in Calgary since 1976 where she is an active artist and art educator. She has taught at the University of Calgary, the Alberta College of Art, the Glenbow Museum, both Calgary School Boards, and as an Artist in the School, funded by Alberta Community Development.
Since 1978 Ms. Bondaroff has been co-proprietor of THE HEART STUDIO of Calgary, a multi-disciplined art facility which features art exhibitions as well art programs and classes for children and adults. Carole has 35 years of experience as an art educator, incorporating curriculum-based subjects with fine art projects.
During her extensive travels as a watercolourist and printmaker, Ms. Bondaroff has had the opportunity to work as a visiting artist at several internationally renowned etching studios, including "St. Micheal's Printshop" in Newfoundland, "Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes" and "Taller Jose Galindo" both in Murcia, Spain, and "Taller de Grabado Tarasco", Uruapan, Mexico. When in Calgary, she produces her etchings at Station Studio. Carole is an active member of the Alberta Printmakers' Society and the Alberta Society of Artists.
Carole Bondaroff is represented nationally and internationally in private and corporate collections including: the Royal Palace in Monaco, the Alberta Art Foundation and the Canada Council Art Bank in Ottawa.
