as Jewish artists to support, encourage and develop artistic professionalism and growth.

Betzalel Arts is a Calgary Jewish Community Centre (JCC) program. As a JCC program Betzalel members benefit from being able to exhibit in an amazing facility that offers some of the best art exhibit venue lighting. In addition, the group is provided with the full support and encouragement of the JCC to help Jewish artists grow within the community including exhibiting at JCC sponsored events and on-site exhibits.

Growing and learning together... 
As a group, we will:

• meet the third Wednesday of every month 7:30 pm at the JCC
• learn professional artistic standards (e.g., exhibit and jury preparation, portfolio presentation, grant writing)
• exhibit at JCC events where appropriate 
• exchange ideas and knowledge at exhibits workshops, paint outs, retreats, web blog and meetings
• contribute our time and energy to help build an innovative program that contributes to the well-being of each artist and our community
